I started in business in November 2007. I initially started in the trade with the company named Excel.ent, in which I was a partner of the business. The company started with a contract for a local engineering firm to carry out all of their logistical needs. To offer a more reliable and efficient service I decided to start my own company Ceri’s Light Haulage which has been trading successfully since October 2010. I now deliver for various companies across the UK for automotive Charitable organisations and furniture industries. I also have a contract in the removal of waste kitchens and plaster board removal, which is covered by my Waste Carriers License under the Environment Agency. The company is fully insured with public liability, employee liability and £15,000 goods in transit insurance.
I also offer house removals, house clearances and waste clearances to the general public and business alike.
I am currently running one vehicle, a 3.5 tonne box van. We are currently in the process of acquiring a second vehicle for the business. I offer a top quality, safe and reliable service in distributing goods across the UK. I do not use the trunking system like many other large hauliers use. This provides the customer with a more personal, speedy and reliable service as your goods can get lost via the trunking system. The personal and efficient services we offer are tailored to our customers needs.
We are looking to add to our customer base in and around the Llanelli area, but will consider the whole of Mid and South Wales area to be able to offer a first class service. Extra labour is available for deliveries that require it.
